2022 May Goals
It’s time to set my intentions for the month, let’s talk 2022 May Goals.
April was an amazing month even though I did not achieve half of the goals that I set out originally, I am still proud of how I spent my April 😍😍. My April Goals blog Post.
So many good things happened:
– I finally started reading again
– Working really helped me set my intentions for the day and I was able to do it consistently for half the month and
– I was able to create one blog article for my website
For May I still want to keep up the habits of drinking water daily, exercising four times a week and reading 10 pages a day.
For learning, I want to learn flutter which I hope to use in the future for app development.
1. Drink Water Daily 2022 May Goal
My specific water target for me is going to be three litres (3L) a day and I interned to do 1.5 litres every 12 hours. So to make things easier and to make things more rewarding, I will fill up the bottles the night before. And then gradually drink the water throughout the day.
2. Read 10 Pages a Day
Last month, I started reading Money Master the Game-7 Simple Steps to Financial Freedom, but I have decided to switch things up. This time around, I’ve decided to switch it up and read Atomic Habits by James Clear. And weirdly enough, it feels like the perfect fit for getting myself back on track and trying to build a routine that I will that will eventually just become a natural and automatic habit.
3. Exercise 4X a Week
As usual working out is going to be easy, or at least I hope it will be easy. I am still doing the EPIC II program by Caroline Girvan, and I have decided to restart the EPIC II program even though I made it to week 3 last month.
4. Don’t Invest my Savings
The main goal for May is honestly not touching my savings and investing them 😂😂😂😂😂. My brain is literally at war trying to convince myself that leaving the money alone is the best option. If I can achieve this goal for the next 5 months then I can cancel this off my financial to-do list for a very long time.
5. Re-evaluate Bare-Bones Budget for “6 Months Living Expenses” Savings
As part of my Quarter 2 financial goals, I decided to revaluate what my bare-bones budget will be. The reason for this is simply because of the increase in living expenses. So, at the end of the month, I’ll be able to tell if I need to increase or decrease the amounts in the budget.
6. Learn Flutter
To make things easier, I have decided to either dedicate my mornings or evenings to learning Flutter. For the longest time, my excuse was that I did not have a good enough laptop. Now that I have one the goal is to finally learn and build the Investing App that I have been thinking of since last year.
I have a great feeling about May. May yours be equally overflowing with gratitude and WINS
