August | Monthly Goals 2026
A Second Fresh start
I know its odd to be creating my August Monthly goals now, but truly this is when I finally feel like I can start my year. I haven’t planned out my life for the last 5-ish months because everything felt like it was hinging on whether or not I would be traveling to Italy in September.
And YEAH!!!, I finally got my visa so that means I can finally squeeze in as many goals as possible before the year ends.
Now that I know where I will be for the reminder of the year, lets head back to the drawing board and see what I need to change, what’s possible and what I need to push into 2027. That means turning to my 2026 Yearly Goal Planner. The stubborn part of me believes I can still achieve the goals I set out at the beginning of the year but it would require me to lock in like I am a madman.

Finding a Rhythm
If I haven’t said it before I will say it now. I thrive with routine, predictable days and unhealthy amount of control over what happens in my day to day “life”. For me that means:
- Waking up at the same time in the morning and having a Morning Routine
- Taking my daily walks
- Going to the gym
- Journaling & Gratitude every night
Once I feel like I can do these 4 things consistently overtime will I gain the confidence to tackle my ambitious 2026 goals. For now I am going to take it one task, one day and month at a time. A year from now I will be glad I did not give up on the year and lived it out.

I kind of feel like this months goals are realistic at this stage of the year. I have decided to ease into my goals rather than overextend myself and get discouraged if I fail.
Take a moment to take a breath and pat yourself on the back, or maybe find someone to give you a long, tight hug and tell you:
You are going to be okay, and you can start over as many times as you need to.
